Hi Everyone, I have this feeling that the virus I contracted yesterday may have mailed itself to all in my address book. If so...Please do not open...an attachment that says "pictures from my Party in the Header...."...it is a new NIMDA. The way to rid yourself of it is to download the latest Norton patterns and run scan disc on your computer. It will quarentine all the files infected. By the way...Nimda usually doesn't ruin files...It merely creates its own...So while your files are okay it is replicating its own files and cluttering up your system with them. I had 800 nimda files last night....My email just started scrolling with the same header...Pictures from my party...with an attachment so I ran the scan...It took awhile...but all is okay. If you are hooked up to a network...unplug the network cable and run the disc scan...This virus migrates to other computers on the network. Sorry for the inconvenience...I hope it didn't get you!
