I use a program that lets you scan for t shirt transfers. You can purchase the transfer paper to use in your computer for the scan at almost any store or cvs pharmacy. It makes a reverse copy that then is ironed onto fabric. I use a hp office jet v40 printer that has the option to make mirror images. I also use PrintShop, which is a common program if you plan on doing this yourself. Though you dont have to use either of these, The basics are that you will have to be able to scan a reversed image and print it onto transfer paper, most any fairly up to date print programs will do this and if you have the scanner. Your In Business!! I thought of a project somewhat like yours to make a Throw Blanket for my son overseas in the military. I think it is very possible to achieve it in time for your occasion. It's the stitching that may prove to be the hardest and slowest part. Good Luck, Brenda in the Illinois flatlands.
