    1. [KILGORE] Are there computer and quilting experts out here?
    2. Hi there to all the Kilgore gang! I have an idea for our (my wife's and mine) 25th wedding anniversary, but have absolutely no idea if it can be done, or where to go to find out, so I'm going to seek the wisdom of the Kilgore Family Council. I've put together a collection of the kids drawings from their early years to the present, along with some cards and letters my wife and I sent each other when we were dating (she doesn't know I've kept them all this time.) What I'd like to do is to transfer them from paper to cloth so they can be sewn together for a quilt. Is there a way to do that? And how do I go about finding someone who does quilts? I've looked in the local yellow pages, but find no one who does quilts. Also, our anniversary is in August; is that enough time for me to get this done? By the way, you'll likely get a kick out of this, and maybe learn a lesson also. I can tell you with absolute certainty that scanning the picture into your computer, and then inserting a piece of cloth into the printer in the hopes that the picture will emerge on the cloth IS NOT A GOOD IDEA!! Unless, of course you enjoy taking things apart, pulling tiny bits of thread from around intricate pieces of plastic and metal. So, if any of you can help me with any part of this dilemma, please let me know. I think it may be that it isn't possible, but I don't want to give up on the idea unless I have to. My wife is not generally the romantic type, but I think this one has the potential for making her feel warm and fuzzy. HELP! Warm regards, Randy

    3. Hi, Hanes T-Shirt Maker might work for you. The package includes software and special paper. You design anything you want using the software, and then print it on their special iron-on transfer paper. We made our own custom t-shirts a couple of years ago and they turned out great. I suppose you could iron it onto any cloth that can be ironed onto. They sell it at most places that sell software - I bought it at Best Buy. Retail price is about 40 bucks, but you should be able to find it for much less. Brian Bauman --- Rkkcak@aol.com wrote: > all this time.)
