The only reason I was looking in AL was the 1880 census had them in Trigg County, KY and it said that she and all the children except the oldest son were born in AL. I figure Wayne might have been married before and had the first son. I know Mahalia had two sons when they married, then they had my grandfather and his two sisters. It will be interesting to see where I find them. I will try to find the census posting and copy it onto here. Then you all will know who I am looking for. I found it. I have in the 1880 Census for the Golden Pond District in Trigg County, KY. Smith, Wayne s. age 47 Farmer T T T Mahalia P.
