    2. Ok....Here goes...I am one of the Killgore's who settled in Louisiana. Willian Killgore married Sarah Unknown Robert L. Killgore married Ann Smith William Killgore (Wilkes Co., GA.) married Polly T. "Mary" Duke Charles Allen Killgore (b. 2 Dec. 1809 Wilkes Co GA.) married Susan U. Curry William Curry Killgore (b. 12 Dec. 1844 Wilkes Co. GA.) married Tabitha Olive "Bytha" Morton Willie Olivia Killgore (b. 12 Dec. 1874) married William Rouden Morgan Susie Glenn Morgan (b. 1 Nov. 1902) married Hugh Clawson Shields Ella Jane Shields married Paul H. Holtmann (This is me)....... Charles Allen Killgore and family came to Lisbon, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. Records show he enlisted in the Confederacy as....Pvt. Company G 25th Louisiana Infantry, C.S.A. March 31, 1863. The Killgore Plantation is on the Historical Registery of LA. It is still in the hands of family and in great shape. The Cemetery is well kept. I had the wonderful experience of visiting in the home with my mother who had played there as a child. Would love to hear from any cousins........
