Hi, Mabel Ida Hinkle was born in Springfield, Nebraska and they lived in Monroe, Ne. when my father was born and she lived in David City, Nebraska when I knew her. The Hinkle family did live in Penn. and Md. Like the Kilgores some went south and some went west. Are you related to the Hinkles? I have a friend in the Geneology club here who also is looking for Hinkles and we think we may be related from way back but haven't found the connection yet. Toodie

Hi Toodie, The Hinkle family married into my Elliott, Simpson and Eoff lines which are connected to my mother's family, not the Kilgore line. They went from N.C., Tennessee and Izard Co., AR. and ?? I don't know if this Hinkle line is connected to the line from PA. This Hinkle family was in N.C. in 1792. Which one of your Hinkle line went south and where in the south?
