    3. This obituary appeared last weekend (March 29, 2002) in the Teague (Texas) Chronicle. Teague is in Freestone County, on the eastern edge of central Texas, about 70 miles east of Waco. I realize this woman is a Kilgore by marriage, but perhaps this will help someone. I have not done this before, so if I am violating some rules, I am sure I will hear about it. And thus we learn. Linda Kilgore Zeigler (no relation to the deceased) in Tyler, Texas, behind the Pine Curtain LINDA KILGORE Teague - Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Allene Kilgore, 88, of Teague, will be conducted Monday afternoon (April 1, 2002) at 2 o'clock in Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverends Tom Grissom of Grace United Methodist Church and Charles Jordan of First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Dew Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Kilgore, born June 19, 1913, in Freestone County, died Thursday in East Texas Medical Center-Fairfield. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and operated Kilgore Trailer Park for many years in Teague. Known as a lady who loved to cook for her familly and entertain friends in her home, Mrs. Kilgore was a faithful member of her Sunday School class at First UMC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aldress Kilgore. Surviving are three sons - Charles Kilgore and wife Carol of Dundas, Illlinois; Paul Kilgore of Teague and Perry Kilgore and wife Donna of Elkhart; a daughter, Louise Collins of Teague; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
