Thank you for the reply Randy. Seems they aren't in the archives. I may have received them from a Civil War ring I used to be part of. These were letters from a confederate soldier (name of Hicks) to his wife back home. These letters have a way of bridging the time and setting you in that place like none other I can recall. If memory serves, the sender was a wonderful lady, Josephine Bass? I will start a mission to find them. These letters are moving and if I find them again, I will share them here if anyone wants.
