Hi Gail, I just love you! (Oops, now the secret's out!) Actually, what I want to say is that I appreciate your sensitivity on this matter. Frankly, I wouldn't want to see him allowed on the list solely for the purpose of selling us information. There are a lot of places we can go to buy information, and I doubt anything he's got is as valuable as the stuff our very own Vicki passes on to us for free. Heaven help us if she ever starts charging because I'd be emptying my pockets every week just to read it, and most of it isn't even my line! (To be honest, I think the reason she works so hard is to prove she ISN'T from my branch of Kilgores!) Lest I seem too harsh, let me say there's absolutely nothing wrong with him trying to profit from this research, but there are appropriate forums for doing so, including running ads someplace. Let him convince Rootsweb to allow him to advertise if he wants to hit this market. Or let him say candidly to the list..."I'm trying to make a buck here!"... so everyone can determine up front how he fits into the family.
