    2. Dennie Rennow
    3. I am a Rottweiler. I was brought into this world by a loving breeder who has spent the last 30 years in loving dedication to my breed. I was trained by a man or woman who has been equally dedicated to my breed. Over the last few years, you have gotten e-mails from people who said I was vicious, because crimainal humans made less than .0001 % of my breed into criminal dogs. And becuse human parents never tought their children how to respect and stay away from large animals of any kind. You wanted my breeder to abandon her love and care of my breed. You wanted her to never make another dog like me. You wanted to keep me in a small pen and make me wear a muzzle. Some of you, wanted us all killed for no reason. I never growled at a human. I never attacked a human. But you said I was a potential danger and I needed to be destroyed. You wanted the same done to my brothers and sisters in the working dog world. You came for the pit bulls, you came for the German Shepards, you came for the Dobermans, and you came for us, the Rottweilers. Today I sat at my master's feet in NY. The master you said was crazy to want a Rottweiler. We cried, but kept on working. You saw the sadness in my eyes. I was bred to work. I was trained to find. I search and I find. My reward is a scratch on the head and maybe a hug from the person I find, but those I find can't scratch my head. I cry. My fellow searchers have lost their lives falling in this rubble. My feet are cut by glass and metal. But my trainer and I keep searching. We are looking for your spouses, your children, your parents, your friends, your coworkers and your neighbors. I am risking the life you wished to deny me. I am doing what NO ONE else can. If I were not here, you would have no where else to turn for help or hope. When you see my trainer and I sleeping on the sidewalk or climbing over the mountain of ruble, because just one of your human lives is important to me, look into my eyes and remeber the sacrifice and work that "dangerous" dogs like me have done for thousands of years and think about a world without me. All I ask is let me live. Let my breeder continue to make it possible for dogs, like me, to give our lives for yours. In disasters, in wars, and just protecting your homes and families for thousands of years to come.

    3. Mike, Thank you for your message! I hope it reflects the thinking of all thoughtful Americans. I have already heard of young Arabs being beaten on college campuses. We cannot lower ourselves to the level of those who have devasted us. There is much, much more to America than that kind of mentality! Why don't these young people burn up their energy finding ways they can help the tens of thousands in NYC. We are going to be in shock all over again when we hear the casualty numbers. Meanwhile, we must continue to send our prayers for all those who have lost a loved one, friend or acquaintance. The ripple effect of this tragedy finds its way to all of us. America has discovered it is a community and has joined hands and hearts. God Bless. Alice ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! 2. Hi Linda, Thank you for your kind words. I'm pleased you already feel connected to us. This is an extraordinary collection of some of the finest people I know, and whatever I may be able to give the group is only a very small measure of what I've been given by them. And I can tell you right now, you fit right in...we're lucky you're with us. Warm regards, Randy

    2. Dear Jeannette, Tomorrow at noon we've scheduled a time of prayer for working Christians in the Financial District of Boston during their lunch hour. May I have your permission to ask that group to pray for Officer Keller by name? We will, of course, be remembering all the victims, but would like to pray specifically where possible. If other Kilgore cousins know of family members or friends who are missing, injured or known not to have survived, it would be our wish to add them to our specific prayer list as well. Prayerfully, with warm regards, Randy

    3. Below is an email I just got from a friend in Denmark. She got it and immediately lit her candles. Dennie Light candles in the windows tonight to show that we feel with USA and the tragedy that have hit them. Light it for all the people who have lost their lives and for their family that now are left behind, especially for all the children who will not see their parents again. Let them see that we stand together!

    3. Hello Kilgore cousins, My favorite list. I know when I read the messages on this list that it will raise my spirit a bit. So I watch for new messages often. We, too, have family in the NY area. Of the four in our family who work as policemen and firemen, only three came home, and are accounted for. Robert Keller is a fireman. He hasn't contacted the family at all. I have been watching the news, and I am hearing stories about family members just now finding their missing family members alive and well, because of the communication and transportation problems, but somehow I don't think that will be the case here. Robert worked at a fire station that was located in the area of the WTC buildings. And we haven't lost hope that he will be found and alive. But...as time goes on, I find myself getting a bit low in my faith that all will be well. So, I decided to ask all of my cousins here to keep up the prayers and please remember Robert. Peter, Robert's uncle, is keeping us informed as much as he can by email. He is a retired fireman living on Long Island. Three of his neighbors have been found and the bodies identified, plus many of his fellow fireman. All of these families need all of our prayers, as I know we can't even begin to imagine what horror they are going through. Jeannette Keller

    3. Randy, I have been on the Kilgore List only about 2 1/2 months, but I have to sing praises to you for the way you continue to come to the aid of your family and friends. I'm not quite sure where we fit in as cousins, but I am proud to be a part of your family. God bless you and us all. 3. I agree with what our President said, this is Good against evil. We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Our forefathers based our country on freedom. This is truly Good verses evil. We will strengthen our country & families if we all unite in Love & Prayer. Psalm 23..will comfort you. I am grateful to have landed late Monday night after flying all day, only to wake up to hear what the enemy did. I am thankful. My Prayers & Love go out to all. We are all effected. Lets all unite in Love & Prayer this will be our strength. Carolyn
