    2. Gail Meyer Kilgore
    3. Speaking of your snow Aunt Donna, you are sending it this way and we are due for some heavy accumulation starting tomorrow late and into Wed. Going to make driving fun in Phoenix on Wed. It has been at least 11 years since I have seen snow here.. so this might be interesting. Maybe I can get some good pictures of the snow on the cactus. Gail

    3. Linda, Thanks for the complement. <G> Yes, there are a lot of us. Every class I was in at school had at least two Lindas. We can be good and we can be bad, but when we are bad, we are still good. By the way, where do your Kilgore's come from? I actually only have three and one of them went by Smith. It said that my grandfather was born in AL. I never knew where. So I am going to go to the Walker Co., AL website and see what I can find. 1. [KILGORE] William Kilgore in GA & OK Territory
    2. Hi Kilgore Gang, I very rarely post anything, but yesterday I discovered that William Kilgore was born in GA about 1845. On the 1910 census it states that William is 65 and has been married for 42 years, and both he and his parents were born in GA. I do know that sometime between 1880-1900 or so they made a trip to the OK Territory and stayed some years. They returned to AL before 1905, because I have documents proving they were in Walker Co., AL by that time. My big question is this. Does anyone have access to the GA census for 1850. If so, I am hoping you can find my William Kilgore, age 4 to 6. If I can find him in the household, then I can probably find his father as head of household. This would be a great help to me. Many thanks in advance, Davine Roberts Jacksonville, FL

    3. Davine, What a unique name. I like it. Thanks for posting that the Kilgores were in Walker County, AL. I wanted to check AL, but was lost as to which county to start with. We are happy to have you with is. We are a fun loving caring group who all share the passion of the Kilgore gene-alogy passion. I will be going in today to pay for the update for us on the myfamily.com website so we can again begin to post pictures. I have been putting it off until our finances got a lil better. I do have a prayer. On Febuary 15th my son will be going in for surgery to remove dead tissue in his left ear. They will remove the tissue and bones around it in a three hour surgery. Once this is done we will then go back in another 3 months and have the ear reconstructed at which time he will regain some of his hearing. Just keep him in your prayers when the time comes. Take care Dd

    3. Thanks a lot. Maybe I can finally find Mahalia Kilgore Smith. She had two little boys by the Kilgore named James and Levi. Levi took the name Smith as he was very young when they married. Levi died in 1965 in Paducah, KY. James lived somewhere in that area, possibly Trigg County. Does this sound familiar to anyone? 1. [KILGORE] Virus
    2. Jodi
    3. Hi Everyone, I have this feeling that the virus I contracted yesterday may have mailed itself to all in my address book. If so...Please do not open...an attachment that says "pictures from my Party in the Header...."...it is a new NIMDA. The way to rid yourself of it is to download the latest Norton patterns and run scan disc on your computer. It will quarentine all the files infected. By the way...Nimda usually doesn't ruin files...It merely creates its own...So while your files are okay it is replicating its own files and cluttering up your system with them. I had 800 nimda files last night....My email just started scrolling with the same header...Pictures from my party...with an attachment so I ran the scan...It took awhile...but all is okay. If you are hooked up to a network...unplug the network cable and run the disc scan...This virus migrates to other computers on the network. Sorry for the inconvenience...I hope it didn't get you! Hugs, Jodi
