    3. Thomas, Feb 1, 2002 I am trying to remember the correct dll name at the present. However the dll was actually a part of Microsoft's code to allow the user to name a file longer than eight letters. Example: thomasriggins.doc Example: thomasriggins.txt If a person has delete the Microsoft dll then you could only have eight letters total. Example: thomasr~.doc Example: thomasr~.txt Your cousin, Charles Penley ----- Original Message ----- From: "Thomas Riggins" <triggins@fayelectric.com> To: <KILGORE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, February 01, 2002 5:07 PM Subject: [KILGORE] Virus RE:.dll file > Sometime back there was a warning of a virus. 3. Freda, Thanks for the welcome. The only reason I was looking in AL was the 1880 census had them in Trigg County, KY and it said that she and all the children except the oldest son were born in AL. I figure Wayne might have been married before and had the first son. I know Mahalia had two sons when they married, then they had my grandfather and his two sisters. It will be interesting to see where I find them. I will try to find the census posting and copy it onto here. Then you all will know who I am looking for. I found it. 3. Hi, Donna, Here in Southern Illinois, it was 66 yesterday. I used to live in Fairfield, CA. I love the Bay area, but it is so rare for you to have snow. I have a friend in Garden Grove near LA who is always rubbing it in because it gets so cold here and snows. Now, I have it on her. Ha In 1979 we had a 20 inch snow in February. Who knows, maybe we will get one this year. It has been mild so far. 2. Hi Gail. You two better bundle up, as this storm is cold. I do wish you could see our area though. All the mountains surrounding us are white topped and gorgeous. Highway 17 over to Santa Cruz is a play ground for not only the kids, the grown ups are throwing snow balls. Of course we have had lots of accidents over the hill there, but that is not unusual even in clear weather! Predicted cold and snow at least through Thursday. Amazing! Hopefully I will see you in Feb. No date as of yet, but I am getting very anxious. My love to both: Aunt Donna

    2. News from California. We had snow early this morning and through out this morning in Los Gatos. Plus it is cold. Predicted more snow tonight, and of course more cold. BarbeKay and other eastern cousins, you no doubt have warmer weather than we do here in the Bay Area. Malinda we have not heard from you for quite some time. I hope every thing is fine your way. Let us hear how you are. Are you having snow your way? I know you are another easterner. But then we have a lot of easterners, too many to post, but I am thinking of you while I am COLD BRRRRR! Roy from Twin Falls, ID. now you are not the only transplant that has to endure snow. I didn't even have to transplant to see some snow. Maybe not as much as you do, but it is white and cold. I do have to add, we are surrounded with gorgeous white topped mountains. What a beautiful sight Bay area is right now. Love to all my cousins Donna

Los Gatos has a cemetery named Los Gatos memorial, AND there are lots and lots of Kilgores buried here from the 1850 and up. Most of them are of the Matthew line, but some others are buried here. Let us make an appointment one of these days to meet each other and go through the cemetery. It is not far from where I live, and you can 85 easily from Mt. View, and 85 comes into Los Gatos about 3 blocks from my home. Let us seriously think about this, We could bring a camera and post some of the photos on Kilgore Wagon Train. One more thing, let's wait until the snow is gone, and when it is a little warmer! Cousin, Donna
