    2. Cousin Carolyn: You are just down the road from me. We had snow here in Redmond, WA this morning too but it has all melted now (2 PM). Did you know there were Kil(l)gore living in this area in the early 20th century? We'll keep LaQuita in our thoughts and prayers too!

    3. Hi Mark, Nice to hear from you! We had 8-10" of snow at our farm (rural Olympia) & in the city of Olympia there was not very much. We are staying home today the wind chill is really intense. We have horses & they are even wanting to stay near the barn. My Grandfather came out west & they had 5 children, all born in California. He traveled alot & was in many wars. My Grandmother & him were separated most of the marriage. He may have had another family out here too. We never knew for sure, but we think it may be the case. It's been my brick wall, someday it will be solved. There was alot of family secrets, but we cousins are now talking about them, it helps us to understand why my Grandmother always seemed so sad. My Grandfather died before I was born so I never knew him. Keep warm! 2. Dear Carol and Family; Prayers have already started for La Quita and for Joe's trip to the hospital, also for the whole family. It is so heart rendering when you go to the hospital for one thing, and end up with several other problems to contend with also. La Quita has a large group here in Ca. praying for her. Joe is included as is the whole family included in our prayers. God Bless: Donna

    3. This is to give you wonderful people an update on LaQuita. I just spoke to my sister in law. The doctors think that what ever it was they put in her to open up an artery wall has collapsed. They are taking her into an emergency surgery to repair it right now. I will keep up updated as I get them. Thanks so much for the prayers. Carol

She had 2 arteries with 95 and 98% blockage. She had the balloon thing done on her last weekend. She got to go home Friday. Today she started having problems breathing and has irregular heart beats. She is in the emergency room now. Joe is on his way there now, a 5 hour drive. Please say a prayer for her and also for Joe on his drive. It is raining here and very nasty weather is ahead of him. 3. Donna, I think we must be living in Ireland, because it's always green here. We have weather like Ireland, lots of rain, except now it's snow. So I would feel right at home there. I did always hear from relatives the Kilgore name was Irish. I am really getting an education on that from this board. I have got spring fever from all this cold weather. Everybody have fun in Arizona with all that warm weather & Sun. We will have some sun someday soon??? 3. Toodie, Thanks for the names, dates and birth places of Anthony and Charles Hinkle. They are not in my files but will keep them in mind. I am not actively researching the Hinkle line, only where it connects to my own, and then I always want to know who their parents and grandparents are. Genealogy is a bad addiction :o) If I run across anything that looks like one of yours will forward it on. Jenna

    2. Here is what I have on John W. EOFF He married twice. He married Lucille Shaw. He married Margret Peggy Knox. John W Eoff and Lucille Shaw had the following child: + 8 i. <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000067.htm#i67">William Joseph8 Eoff</A> was born before Unknown, the first event for which there is a recorded date. Then William Eoff <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000070.htm#i67b">William Joseph8 Eoff</A> (<A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000070.htm#i70">John W7</A>, <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000072.htm#i72">Isaac6</A>, <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000074.htm#i74">Peter5</A>, <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000076.htm#i76">Johann Jacob4</A>, <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000078.htm#i78">Han's Jacob3</A>, <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000080.htm#i80"> Jacob2</A>, <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000224.htm#i224">?1</A>) <<<All of his ancestors from father back. was born before Unknown, the first event for which there is a recorded date. He married Cynthia Cyneville Unknown. William Joseph Eoff and Cynthia Cyneville had the following child: + 9 i. <A HREF="http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/DoubleD/DOUBLED/d0/i0000057.htm#i57">Johnathan9 Eoff</A> was born before 18 SEP 1882, the first event for which there is a recorded date. Johnathan EOFF had three children with Letha SUMPTER EOFF, JOhn Granville Baily EOFF b? Lucinda who married a McWhirter but died young of cancer. Her kids were sent to an orphanage until they were 18, her daughter married her cousin, who was my fathers brother. That makes them first cousins. Next was Thomas EOFF, he moved to CA and John G. moved to TX Then last was my Grandmother Parlee EOFF BROWN. Their are two people I call experts on this family and that is Angeldrd@aol.com her name is Denise Doyle. The other is MrEoff@aol.com I believe that was his screenname. Contact Denise and she will be able to give you more detailed info on whichever one your looking for. Now the Eoff line originally came from Germany and the spelling was Ofe. On the way to the US the ships captain could not understnad how to write down their surname so he spelled it like it sounded and it stuck. So yes every Eoff in the entire US and abroad descend form that one person who came to the US in the 1700's. There are claims that they came from Holland but there is proof thatthey came from Germany. Hope this helps. DD

    3. Hi Dd, What fun!! Do any of your Eoffs go back to John W. Eoff? He had three children who married into my Elliott family. Isaac LaFayette Eoff b. 1817 married my 3rd great aunt Isabella Elliott. Isabella was the d/o Stephen Elliott my 4th great grandfather. Two more of his children married siblings of Isaac. James Monroe Elliott married Margaret Eoff and Elizabeth Elliott married Samuel Eoff. They were in Tennessee and went on to Arkansas. Would that make us triple cousins :o) I don't have your Joseph Eoff in my file. Who were his parents? I have been told that all EOFF come from the same line? Do you have a Francis Jerome Eoff b. abt 1874? Francis married my second cousin twice removed in Falls Co., TX and I can't connect him to any parents. Minnie Bell Freeze was born in Bell Co., TX but her parents were from TN. Genealogy is fun! Jenna

There is a National Hinkle Geneology Group. If you can find you are a relative of Anthony Jacob Henckle, then you can join it and they have reunions every two years. Let me know if you find anything. 2. Gail Meyer Kilgore
    3. Here is the negative one...;-)) I went grocery shopping Friday and saw that every where I went they had green angel food cakes for sale so I decided since I get so many eggs from my chickens that I would again make an angel food cake from scratch and do the green thing and iced it with a lime frosting. Jack wouldn't wait until today, he had to have it last night. So today I did the corn beef, red potatoes, carrots, onions and cabbage for dinner. As I was eating my dinner and wishing my husband a Happy St. Patrick's Day and telling him that he is 1/4 Irish it dawned on me that he is not the Catholic Irish and that he is considered the Orange Irish, Presbyterians.... Oh well, he didn't wear green today either.. and it was fun cooking the traditional food. Hope you all had a great day. Gail

It is cold, wet, damp and just miserable, We had a rain storm this morning with winds blowing wild, and then had hail mixed in.
