My brother would buy the Double Cola at Elsie's Store. One of his buddies would buy the bag of peanuts. We were allowed a nickel a day on Mama's grocery bill. Into the Cola went the peanuts. And all the boys took turns taking a swig until the Cola and peanuts were gone......
