Jan- Church was fine. It was an outdoor service under a tent. Everyone brought their own chairs or stood up.. All churches represented contributed to the service in some way or another. There solos and a couple of specials from the Dixson Family Gospel Singing Group. They have a couple of teen-agers in the group. The boy (14 years old and sings bass) sang the lead in one song and I really enjoyed it. I spoke on heritage from the standpoint of what Christ has done for us and then asked the question "What kind of a heritage are we leaving to our children. It was a sort of top of the head message because the wind blew my notes away just as I finished with the scripture. So you can see I really thank you for your prayers. They are truly appreciated - More than you know - Grandma Fern
Hi Grandma Fern, The Sunday Service sounds wonderful---now we will pray that the young people will go home and THINK about the message. And the parents of the young people will TALK about the message and its meaning to them.
