Hi everyone we are still here, waiting to see if Hurricane Floyd will make a direct hit here in West Palm beach, or take a turn and go further north. Either way, we are expecting high winds and a really bad storm. Thanks for the concern. I know Sandy said she left town , we are going to stay as long as we can. We have two birds that are like children to us and we just feel better staying here. My son in law is prepared to hop in his truck and come over from the West Coast if we need him. My two grandsons called me and were just crying. they were so upset. one is 5 and the other 7. They were afraid for their grandma and grandpa. Had to calm them down and tell them we are going to be okay. will keep in touch. Staying on line as long as I can. One eye on the computer screen, the other eye on the tv set watching live coverage here on the hurricane preparations. barbara

Barbara; Be careful. I have been down there and through the outskirts of one not nearly so bad. This can be so dangerous. That is something I would never want to go through again. they are already talking about this being a category 5. If you think there is any chance of it coming in there, leave as early as possible. You sure don't want to be caught out on the road. Traffic moves so slow going out. Remember that you can replace your material things, but you cannot replace your lives and there are alot of people that care about you.
