Jo Anne - In regard to the statement that teen agers actually respected their parents, a thought comes to mind from the life of Samuel L. Clemens, who was credited as saying "When I was 14 years old, I could not believe my Dad could be so dumb. By the time I got to be 21, I was absolutely amazed at how much my Old Man had learned in the last 7 years. - I appears to be a phase that they go through, but in my "hey day" to honor my parents was a "must"- I admit times have changed and in some ways, I am not sure it is for the better.
