Hi List, grin, gt my foot in mymouth guess may as well run the isk of twisting it, right? There is at least half a hundred of iffys of Derby fame. Some are obvious tales some are could be's . I had hoped some "local" might have a more sure legit version..............# 1 the old races....... the rich Va. Col. bet his last $500. on a real good young horse but a "poor" owner's horse won. The rich Va. Col. was found dead in the stall. no weapon found........so he watches his horses racing around the track......2 days before the race........3 days after... the horse & Col found dead and ditto. The daughter of the rich non winner ditto......a young jockey was killed during race he still rides on moon lite nights. Many owners can be seen wakling up the stairs, and etcs. The radio announcers see acouple ( lovers) sitting at a table in front of their booth. Some one turns their mikes off and / or on. someone sits in the third chair when the race is being run. The the people that gambled stay near that stand. Or horses re run the race or just one horse is still running, with and without the jockey............any one know if any are factual ? or tales that spring up on any famous place or thing? Liv
