Let me start off by introducing myself ; my name is Cathie, I live in Minnesota (brrrrrrrrrrrrr) with a -40 degree wind chill here), helping my fiance discover HIS roots (so to speak). We need a little assistance in our MAJOR confusion here and hope we've come to the right place. My fiance' (Bob) recently found out, through other relatives, that his great grandfather's name was Huston Brown and that he was born in 1832 (no month or day was given) but noone knows WHERE Huston was born. Prior to his marriage to Nancy Jane Long on November 11, 1866 in Benton County, IA, Huston enlisted into the service (Civil War) on 09/05/1863 "at" Nativity, KY, was Mustered in on 10/03/1963 and Mustered out on 02/28/1866 in Little Rock, AK. This all has us really puzzled as what seems like within a short time, this man was all over the U.S.A. so we aren't sure where he was born. Could someone on this list be so humble as to let us/me know what "Nativity" , KY is. Is it a Military base? Cathie
