Hi Pat... Those maps sound just like what I need. I may have them enlarged at a stationery supply store as I will be making this presentation to about 150 people in a large hotel conference room. :-) I would be interested in your photos showing the countryside to portray the obsticles our ancestors faced when they began the great migration to the western country. Would you be able to email them to me? I have never been to Kentucky, so have no idea what to tell them about it except what I read on the county web sites. The particular family I'm tracing for them migrated Fleming Co, KY to Shelby Co, IN, on to Clay Co, IN, then to Mahaska Co, IA before treking across the Oregon Trail to Portland. I want to show them the obsticles and the challenges the families faced, particularly the women who had the responsibilities of feeding, clothing, nursing, etc without our modern miracles of microwave ovens, refrigerators, washers/dryers, medicines, etc. Lois in Auburn, CA
