My John Carter Jr,born 1-2-1813, has been my BRICK WALL for about 30 years... He married somewhere in Ky, or Indiana about 1828-1830, an Eliza NUTTERFIELD/NUTTERFEE... He had a Brother JOB/JOBE who was deaf... Have been looking for his father for 30+ years...He was my gg grandfather. Any help would be appreciated...Eliza, I believe, was born in Shelby Ky,daughter of George and Nancy McWilliams NUTTERFIELD, But, who knows...One of my correspondants jokingly, I think, suggested that he, along with her John Carter, were deposited here as adults, with no ancestors, from an alien planet... I am not sure I go along with that, But, it is a better theory than I have been able to come up with... It would explain a lot... Dick Carter [email protected]
