The Pantagraph Bloomington, Illinois September 29, 2000 =====Buena "Boots" Dalton===== Buena 'Boots' Dalton The funeral of Buena "Boots" Dalton, 86, of 907 W. Oakland Ave., Bloomington, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. The Rev. Rob Roy will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. She died at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at her home. Memorials may be made to Park United Methodist Church, Bloomington, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Mrs. Dalton was born Aug. 7, 1914, in Tompkinsville, Ky., a daughter of Thomas and Evie Lane Hamilton. She married Tho-mas R. Dalton on May 6, 1950, in Bloomington. He died Oct. 27, 1998. Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Dalton, Kenosha, Wis.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. The grandchildren are Terry, Rick and Tom Dyer; Susan Luebbering; Kristi Kindgren; and Dawn and Sean Robertson. Three daughters, five brothers, five sisters and one grandson preceded her in death. Mrs. Dalton retired from General Electric in Bloomington in 1975, after 19 years with the company. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church.
