    3. Hello listers, All this talk has made me want to put out my query once again. Years and years I have searched for my James. This is what I have: My great grandfather was Samuel Poe of Lawrence Co, KY, born in the 1890s. His father was Isaac Poe of Lawence Co, KY, born about 1840. His father was Samuel Poe who lived in Lawrence Co, but was born in Tenn around 1817. His father was James Poe, born about 1790 in VA or Tenn. Married at some point to Samuel's mother, Sarah ?. James Poe died in Eastern Kentucky around 1870, but I can find no verification. Also, who was the father of my James Poe? If anyone can shed any light, please help. Thanks, Rose
