The Pantagraph August 27, 2000 Bloomington, Illinois McLean County Louise Kiper LeROY -- The funeral for Louise Kiper, 75, of LeRoy, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, LeRoy, the Rev. Brent Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Groves Cemetery, LeRoy. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Mrs. Kiper died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 24, 2000) at her residence. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, LeRoy, or to LeRoy Ambulance Service. She was born Jan. 28, 1925, at Falls of Rough, Ky., the daughter of Adain and Verna Spurrier Shain. She married Millard Kiper in 1945, in Kentucky. He died Jan. 6, 1971. She is survived by three daughters, Janet (Roger) Hibbs, Topeka, Kan.; Judi (Jon) Nus, Normal; and Amy (Dick) Mcdermott, Seattle, Wash.; three sons, Clayton (Donna) Kiper, Marshall, Texas; Edward (Rhonda) Kiper, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Robert (Brenda) Kiper, Minier. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Michele Tuggle, Bloomington; Greg Hibbs, Lawrence, Kan.; Sarah Kiper, Las Vegas, Nev.; Cory Kiper and Josh Kiper, both of Marshall, Texas; and LeeAnn Kiper and Aaron Kiper, both of Minier; and two stepgranddaughters, Laura Evans and Dawn DeLaurelle, both of Long View, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Catherine Shain. Mrs. Kiper was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church, LeRoy, as well as a past member of the LeRoy Methodist Women's Club. ~DEBBIE AND RONNIE REDMOND~
