I have a Unity C. PATTERSON b. 19 Sep 1802 in VA{ I believe}....she was living in Mercer Co KY....as she met and married her husband there 10 Dec 1822....Noah Gilpin HAYDEN. I have been trying without much luck to connect her to a PATTERSON family that was in Mercer Co.KY at the time..... A William PATTERSON was the surety on her marriage records....leading me to believe that this was a relative....Father, brother or Uncle?? Her age and place of birth with have been right to have been a daughter of Armstead PATTERSON of Mercer Co.KY, but she is not listed anywhere as such.......thinking his son Wm. was the one who signed her papers?? Then I was thinking that possibly Armstead could be her Uncle and maybe she had moved to Mercer Co. with Armstead's family for some reason?? Too many unanswered questions.....If someone out there has knowledge of UNITY and her parentage I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thanks so much, N.J.Skinner White in MI.
