Hello Everyone, I am searching for information on William Cross, Jr.  and wife Nancy Boyd.  He was born about 1795 maybe Stewart Co., TN and she 19 Jan 1801 in Burke Co., NC. Married 7 Jan 1827.  She was the daughter of John Boyd  and Elizabeth Leach of Iredell, NC.  Need information on the children of William and Nancy.  There was a William Cross who acquired land in Christian Co., KY in 1798.  William Sr. must have been in the Revolutionary War.: William Cross,  (This must have been William Cross Sr.) Kentucky Land Grants: 200 Acres, Survey Date: 12-10-1798, County: Christian, Watercourse: Cypress & Pond R. NC 1820 Federal Census Index, Christian Co., No Township, Page 29. Kentucky Land Grants Acres: 100, Survey Date: 19 Sept 1817, County: Christian, WaterCourse: Saline Cr., No Township, Book: D, No page # Their families may have been born in Stewart Co., TN, and traveled back and forth to Christian Co.  The Boyds and Cross' had numerous relatives in Christian County, KY and Stewart Co., TN.
