Names Brother Barnard (I think Barnette see below), Elijah, Coleman Rogers and father William Rogers. Witnessed by Jeremiah Vardeman, Polly Coons, John Richardson. Will Proved Feb Court 1824. Joseph Rogers, Bond, Mentions son Benjamin F Rogers; Elijah, and William. Also son Barnette. Written Mar 24, 1824; Witnessed by John Richardson, Samnuel Smith, and James Munday....April Court 1824. I recognize inconsistency in these two item as to the Father and the dates, but can only tell you I found these through the Fayette County Web Site....lots of data there......also I believe Coleman Rogers and Barnette Rogers have their names on the Bryant Station Monument as defenders against the famous indian attack during that period....... _________________________________________________________________ Get MSN 8 and enjoy automatic e-mail virus protection. http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus
I have a Rogers line in Garrard Co. KY that starts with John Rogers and goes down through Travis, John Adams, then three brothers Luke Adams, John James and Elijah (all born 1823-5). Don't know if this is your line.
