Hi Everyone-- I am updating a book on WAINSCOTT and WINSCOT and associated families. I would like to contact anyone who is a descendant of Richard Wainscott (b. 1711 in England). His children and grandchildren moved from NC into KY in the 1780s and 90s. They first lived in Madison County, later most moved north and settled in Owen, Henry, Scott and Gallatin counties. Some of the grandchildren went south into Warren and Simpson counties. His children included: Abraham (b. early 1730s) m. Catherine Elizabeth Kellum? Isaac (b. 1735-1742) m. Rachel ENYARD or Enyart Rachel (b. 1746) m. Adam ELROD John (b. 1749) m. Catherine ELROD Elizabeth (b. 1750) m. Benjamin STEWART (they may have moved to TN) Joseph (b. 1753) m. Catherine ___ Maybe also: Solomon (b. abt 1755) William Henry (b. abt 1757) m. Mary ____ Sue in Virginia
