On the 1830 Spencer Co., Ky. census, there is a John Carter listed next door to David Glass... Is he still there in 1840 or 1850. He is shown as owning 3 slaves, all female 2 under 10, and one 24-36... Any help appreciated. Thanks, Dick Carter rcar37@prodigy.net

According to ancestry,com, there were no listing for John Carter in Spencer Co, KY for 1840 and 1850. There are 49 John Carter listings for Kentucky in 1850 and 20 for 1840. Lois in Auburn, CA
