know this is a real long shot, but I am researching the following BAIRD line: 1850 Census for Harrison County TX - all born in Kentucky BAIRD J age 44 - black smith M age 40 F [male] age 20 E [female] age 16 M E [Margaret Elizabeth] age 14 S [male] age 10 L H [male] age 8 C [male] age 5 J L [male] age 2 they were still in Harrison County Texas on the 1860 census all but the last name born in Kentucky J age 55 Mary age 50 M [female] age 27 [this is not the M E on the 1850 census - she was married by then] S [male] age 17 L A [female] age 16 - is this the L H male on the 1850? M [female] age 8 born Texas By 1870 they had moved to Polk County TX, Livingston where their daughter Margaret Elizabeth and her husband Milton Marcus GAITHER were living census for 1870 Polk Co TX shows [all born KY except the last] BAIRD James age 65 - miller Mary age 61 Sturrel [?] age 38 - engineer James age 25 Martha age 18 Does anyone have any clues at all about this elusive BAIRD line of mine? Be careful who you choose to hate, it may be someone you love
