I am searching for the ancestry of the following men who were in the 1830 census of Wayne County, Missouri. Loheman Short age 20 to 30 (b.1800/1810) Charles Short grown males listed are ages 20 to 30 and 60 to 70. Adult female age 30-40. The children listed here fit the ages  and sex of the children listed in the 1840 census of Rebecca Short.  Rebecca Short is listed in the 1850 census of Newton Co., MO, age 51, With most of her > children.  She was born in KY or TN.  In 1850 she is lsited as taking care > of a Smith Short, age 40, b. Kentucky, listed as idiot and pauper in the > census records.  She also applied to the county for help with him. It did not > state the relation of Smith Short to Rebecca Short. We think he was a step son > or her brother in law.
