Nena, Abraham Lincoln was born on 12 February 1809, on the Big South Fork of Nolin Creek, three miles from Hodgesville, Kentucky.His father was a carpenter and a farmer. When Abraham was around 7 his father moved the family north to Indiana, this was around 1816. The family moved in 1830 to Illinois. This is my only explaination.
