I have an ancestor, Samuel Davidson, that was supposed to be in the War of 1812. He isn't listed in the indexes at NARA but is in a book named "THE CORNSTALK MILITIA OF KY". According to this book he was a Capt. of the 6th reg't Sept 19, 1797 & a Major of the 1st battalion, 63rd reg't May 9, 1806, Lincoln County, KY. Does anyone know how I can get copies of his military &/or pension record? Kathy
