My g.g.g.grandfather, Benjamin Cross was born about 1806 somewhere in Kentucky. He married a Sarah. They had one son, John J. born 1827 in KY. Then they moved to Illinois. My g.g.grandfather James S. was born in Morgan Co. Ill. I have fairly complete records to current time. Other children were Benjamin, Elizabeth and Jasper. What I need is a clue as to where in KY Benjamin may have been born. The 1850 DeWitt Co., ILL lists him as 44 and born in KY. So I assume he was born about 1806. Would appreciate any help.
