Mary Ann, Thank you for the information you found. I am showing my lack of experience here, but, what is a Miracode Index? It appears from format to be associated with the 1910 census records. I am not sure about any connection. It could have been that the three-year-old Blanche Jones you found in the 1910 Index is actually a sister to Paul Herman Jones, b. 1899. Obviously it was not his mother. His mother was a Jones by marriage; Townsend was her maiden name. Does this index show other people in the John Turner household? Was Paducah in McCracken County in 1899 when Paul Herman Jones was born? That is the only city I have ever been told. Thank you.
