Does anyone have an ancestor who live in Kentucky between 1785 and 1820, who had an indentured boy or young man by the name of Thomas Grant? I am seeking such a connection. Thomas Grant was said to have learned the farming trade via a family who took him in. He later moved to Maury County, TN and was noted in the Maury County Court records in 1823 and lived in the area of the county that became a part of Marshall County in 1836 and where he died in 1838.
