William Barnett b. 15 May 1759 Lancaster,PA who fought in Rev. War in SC, died 5 May 1839 Green Co,KY His wife was Nancy Richeson/Richerson b. Jan 1774,, Caroline Co, Va, d. 31 Jan 1840 Green Co, Ky 2. Nancy Richeson was dau. of Thomas Richeson b. ca 1749 Caroline Co, Virginia(he being son of Joseph Richeson and wife Elizabeth(lst name unknown). Thomas's wife was Rebecca DeJarnett, dau of Joseph DeJarnat and Mary (Pemberton). both Thomas and wife Rebecca died in Green Co, KY 3. William Barnett's son was William Andrew Barnett and he was b 7 Mar 1800 Green Co, d. Davenport, Iowa 1868. His wife was Mary Cowherd b. 17 Apr 1794 in Green Co, d. 7 May 1839 in Green Co,KY 4. Mary Cowherd was dau. of James Cowherd and wife Anna Drucilla Young. James was born 16 Jan 1759 Culpeper Co, VA and d. 19 Aor 1841 Green Co. Wife Anna Drucilla Young b. 17 Jan. 1766 Caroline Co, VA d. 1840 Green Co,KY. It is said that James Cowherd and his brother Jonathan Cowherd came to Ky with Richeson brothers. 5. Jeremiah Crabb b. 1769 Prince George Co, MD d. 1840 Henry Co, Ky His wife was Eleanor Williamson Compton b 1774 Prince George Co, Md d. Henry Co 1851 Henry Co, KY 6. Zachariah Smith b ca 1740 in Germanna area of Va. d. 1816 Mercer Co, KY. His wife was Sarah Ann (last name unknown) 7. George G Green b. 1783 Virginia was in Ky by 1806 when he married in 1806 Mercer Co, Ky Mary Polly Smith, who was granddau. of Zachariah. Desperate to fine George's parents in Va. as all records say he was born in "Old Dominion" Does any one know more. I know he was in several counties before he settled in Hart Co where they died on their farm -he in 1844 and she in 1848-in Bear Wallow-Uno area. 8. Leonard Young was father of Anna Drucilla YOung wife of James Cowherd. He was born Culpeper or Caroline Co.Va. 1745. he died 1821 in Fayette Co,KY. His first wife and mother of Anna D. was Mary ann or Mollie Higgins b. 1744 Caroline CoVa. and died Fayette Co,KY 1813 Hope to hear from KY cousins if you know more or need to check as I have most of these lines several generation back except for the elusive George G Green.
