I am searching for information on the family of my great-grandfather, James E. Arnett who was born in Kentucky in 1831. His father was from South Carolina, his mother from Kentucky. However, I have no idea who they were, where they lived, or where he was born. James E. attended medical school in Louisville, then followed some horse traders into Tennessee. He liked it there and stayed. I have information as to his wives and children, but I don't know where he or his third wife, Rhoda C. Melton Hendrix, are buried. He died Dec. 31, 1929. After his death, Rhoda took their children (one of them, my grandmother) to Texas. In Navarro county, my grandmother married James D. Miles. I know where my grandparents are buried in Navarro county, along with his parents, his first wife and children. There are some Arnetts buried there, but I don't recognize any of the names from the information I have. I would appreciate any information and help. Cecelia in Texas
