On the 1810 Ky Census, there was one John Carter listed in each of the listed counties. These were the only John Carters in Ky in 1810. One of them had at least 2 sons, John and JOB, who was "deaf and dumb". Does anyone have any information of such a combination John, with sons John and a Deaf JOB? Any information appreciated. Need parentage of above lady who married James Baldon, early Owen Co., In., J,P.... Also, need her relationship to Nancy Nutterfield, on Owen Co. census of 1840, and to Eliza Nutterfee, wife of John Carter Jr., of Taylor Twp., Owen Co., and Cloverdale Twp., Putnam, Co., In, from 1830's until her death in 1866. Dick Carter [email protected]
Need parentage of Nancy W McWilliams, who married George Nutterfield, 6-24-1803, in Shelby Co., Ky. I Have her Name as Nancy Steppe Williams from family papers of Son Goalson Nutterfield, and the record shows Nancy W.McWilliams. Which is right?(What does the W stand for?) Also, a Nancy McWilliams is shown marrying Andrew Black 4-2-1801, and a Robert Simonton 8-25-1802... Are these 2 different women, or are they all, one and the same. Also, need parentage for George Nutterfield. Dick Carter [email protected]
Sue, I'm not a cousin, that I know of, but wanted to send a wish for a speedy recovery for your other half. Be well, Judy

In my haste, I forgot to mention both these births were female. SHARPE/FULLER Thanks, Judy
If I wanted to look up a birth record and all I have is the last name and the mothers maiden name, would that be possible? If so, if someone out there has access to these records, would you check a couple names? They would be to the same parents. I figure one to be born around 1919 and one around 1921. The later died as an infant. The mother's maiden name was Beatrice SHARPE of MA and the father's name was Walter/Wm. R. FULLER of AL. I look forward to all responses. Judy
A printed list I saw had the baby listed under the married name, then had the mother's maiden name in a separate column (although it was often wrong or the mother put her married name anyhow). This list was on microfilm that I have gotten both from LDS and from Heritage Quest. The list had deaths in bold type as well. You can look down the columns and find your surname, then find the mother's name. All counties were alphabetized on the film.
