I just wanted to let you know I final started launching my new site called Appalachian Heritage it will contain information on the appalachian people as well as mining information I have collected over the years. I have alot of pages to launch so check back often. I will also be putting mining accident information, information about the mines, statics etcs. There will be articles that will be on going one about A Miners Way of Life, and Mining accidents (one mine will be reviewed each month due to the large amount of data available). I'm looking for any connection to the family of Noah Gilpin HAYDEN b. ca1798-1804 Mercer Co.KY. m. Unity C. PATTERSON b. 19 Sep 1802 VA....Their family lived in Orange Co.IN during the 1840s time period after they migrated from Mercer Co.KY. The family lived then in Monroe & Greene Co.IN. with ties to Owen Co.IN as well. I believe that Noah most probably died in Orange Co.IN, but I do not know where? Searching for information on James Leon DAUGHERTY b. July 4,1902 in Indiana, d. Aug 23, 1953 in Texas, m. Iva LaFaye REESE about 1933 in Texas. They had two sons Jack and Jim. Parents of James Leon are Robert T DAUGHERTY and Unknown DEMEMBERN/DEMUMBERN. Possible siblings of James Leon are Eve, Everett, John and Myrtle.
