    3. Hello List, Some time ago I asked members of various Mail Lists for help me in finding the Enrollment Roster of an individual that served in the CCC during the 1930's. Many of you e-mailed websites and other information to enable me to search for this data. Also, many asked me to post my findings to Mail List. I DID NOT find a way to get an Enrollment Roster, but I AM happy to say I did find a source to obtain the Discharge Papers for this individual. Now that I have gotten the Discharge Papers with the Company number and his Serial Number, I can search websites to find additional information. A request for this information can be submitted to the following address: National Archives & Records Administration National Personal Records Center Civilian Personnel Records 111 Winnebago, Street St. Louis, MO 63118-4199 Along with you request, you must include the authorized/handwritten signature of the person who is the subject of the record OR if the person is deceased, a proof of death. There is no charge for this information; however, the waiting time to receive the data is quite long. Good luck!! Bobby G. 1. [KY] Clay/Anderson
    2. Am seeking information on Henry Clay who married Mary "Polly" Anderson in 1838 in Pike County, KY. This couple is listed in the 1860 Wyoming County, VA/WV census in the following manner: Household #110 Henry CLAY 50 Mary 48 Hiram 21 Elizabeth 18 Mastin 15 Lucy 14 Solomon 11 Margarette 8 Calbert 6 Charles 4 Melvina 1 Henry 1/12 The children older than Charles were born in KY. Charles & those younger than Charles were born in VA. This would date the relocation of this family from Pike County, KY to Wyoming County, VA/WV as circa 1855. It has been reported that this Henry Clay was born circa 1810 in VA & was the s/o of a Mastin or Marston Clay. No connection has been found between this Henry Clay & the 78-yr-old Henry Clay also residing in 1860 Wyoming County, VA/WV. The 78-year-old Henry Clay is descended from the Mitchell Clay line. Thank you in advance for any information or guidance. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Mike Peters [email protected]

    3. This database is free at Ancestry for the next 10 days. nt KENTUCKY 1910 MIRACODE INDEX This database is an index to the 1910 U.S. Federal Census for the state of Kentucky. The 1910 Miracode indexes the following information for each person: name, relationship to head of household, color or race, age at last birthday, marital status, visitation number or family number, place of birth, county, township, and enumeration district number. The information found here will lead researchers to the location of their ancestors in the actual 1910 U.S. Federal Census Schedules. The corresponding census images for this database will be posted within the next few months. The Miracode indexes for other states will be following in upcoming weeks. Miracode is a slightly modified version of the Soundex indexing format. Miracode and Soundex are indexes based on the pronunciation of a name, rather than the name's spelling. Surnames are coded and then arranged numerically by their codes. The Miracode system was used in 1910 only for the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
