Hello, Please, would someone have access to the 1920 Louisville census? Also, is there a websight for cemeteries in Louisville, including Jewish cemeteries? Please respond privately! Arlene [email protected]
The closest thing I can think of that comes to your question are many Atlases of individual counties produced around 1870 - 1890 which labeled the ownership of individual houses in the county. Maps were produced by D. J. Lake & Co., and I think another company called Beers, and perhaps there were others. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a Historical Atlas of the state of KY.....which would show me locations of land owned throughout the state.....and if so what time period it covers? Thanks so much, N.J.Skinner White in MI.
After reviewing the SKINNER's who purchased land in KY.....I have found that there are 2 SKINNER's who purchased land in Rockcastle Co.KY ....My ancestor Clark SKINNER b. 1794 KY had purchased land 1831 and 1833, on the watercourse Dry Fk Crooked Cr. and Dry Fk Valley.....also there was a Elijah SKINNER who purchased land 12-12-1833 on the watercourse Crooked Cr. Is there anyone who is connected to either of these SKINNER's? I believe that Elijah and Clark could possibly be related? Thanks so much, N.J.Skinner White in MI.
Need parentage of above lady, Matilda NUTTERFIELD, who married James Baldon, early Owen Co., In., J,P.... Also, need her relationship to Nancy Nutterfield, on Owen Co. census of 1840, and to Eliza Nutterfee, wife of John Carter Jr., of Taylor Twp., Owen Co., and Cloverdale Twp., Putnam, Co., In, from 1830's until her death in 1866. Dick Carter [email protected]
My John Carter Jr,born 1-2-1813, has been my BRICK WALL for about 30 years... He married somewhere in Ky, or Indiana about 1828-1830, an Eliza NUTTERFIELD/NUTTERFEE... He had a Brother JOB/JOBE who was deaf... Have been looking for his father for 30+ years...He was my gg grandfather. Any help would be appreciated...Eliza, I believe, was born in Shelby Ky,daughter of George and Nancy McWilliams NUTTERFIELD, Dick Carter [email protected]
On May 23, 1822, Elizabeth Nutterfee, born July 10, 1810, was married to Andrew Pittman, in Nelson Co Ky. At a later date, at an unknown location, she married John Carter Jr. Perhaps at Shenandoah,Va.,in 1842.or perhaps in Ky., or Indiana. According to my records, she was almost 12 years old when she married Andrew. Does anyone have any information on either the Pittman, or the John Carter Jr, at Shenandoah, Va.? She may have had at least 3 children, with Andrew, Nancy Jane,1829, Elizabeth Ann,1828, and possibly Matilda 1831. Any help appreciated. I am trying to batter down a brick wall. Thanks. Dennis, I have no problem with what you tried to do. Some people get so caught up in thier own lives though and just don't care about others anymore. They are just plain rude. I for one applaud what you did. I hope everyone does it when the need arises. Hello Lists, Good Evening! I must apologies for creating so much hate and discontent in trying to help a fellow genealogist in her request. I also need to apologies for sharing the personnel email that was sent to me by the Indiana Gen-List owner. I really feel that I did the right thing to help Nancy in her time of need. Yes, These lists are for genealogy related topics only, but the fact still remains that we are all here for each other as decent human beings should be. We all need to cooperate and work together in researching our family lines. Have A Great Week! Looking forward to hearing from you! God Bless You All! Warm Regards, Dennis W.
