    3. I have a list of about 50 individuals, with their Social Security Numbers. I would like to get copies of each of their SSN applications. Judging from the prices for copies, processing feesand shipment charges quoted in Ancestry.com, this is going to prohibitively expensive (perhaps $50 or more, per name). Is there some way to minimize the costs of getting these records? Has anyone on the list had any experience (positive or negative) in obtaining these records. Thanks, John W. 1. [KY] MICHAEL and SAMUEL SPENCER buried Breckinridge
    2. Redbird
    3. In the addendum of Vol. 1 of Breckinridge County Cemerteries, ed. by Virginia C. Hinton and Shirley B. Pile, it states that at the Jarboe cemetery are the following-S.S. Believed to be Samuel Spencer death 1825 and M. S. Believed to be Michael Spencer death 1818. Does anyone know who furnished this information? Secondly if so was Samuel a brother to Michael? I know Michael may have had a son, Samuel, but someone has listed a Samuel as marrying a Troxell and that he moved to DeWitt co. IL and is buried there. At the beginning of the above mentioned book it lists this for the Jarboe Cemetery--number 188--on Highway 79, at bridge just before junction with 105. Rock with "M.," broken; rock with "R.D." rock with "M.C. 1818".

    1. [KY] Lewis Family
    2. janemc
    3. I am looking for information on the Lewis family from Henry Co. Ky. or perhaps in other areas of Kentucky. My husbands GGG Grandmother was Nancy Lewis who was born in Ky. and married Elijah D. McEndree on March 17, 1829. They had nine children together. Nancy had a brother who was blind who lived with them that I found in the census records. His name was something like Seabring for something like that. It was hard to read, Seabring Lewis. There is a possibility also that there was a Richard Lewis that married a Isabelle McEndree on May 17, 1818 and he may be related to Nancy Lewis. I don't have much to go on here, I know. I think that Nancy Lewis was born in 1802 in Ky. according to census records. She and Elijah lived in Henry Co., Ky. for a while and by abt. 1835 had moved to Johnson Co., Indiana. Any help with this Lewis family would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jane Little McEndree janemc@airmail.net

    1. [KY] McEndree Family
    2. janemc
    3. I am looking for others who may be doing research on the McEndree family from Kentucky. Elijah D. McEndree was born in abt. 1793 and married a Nancy Lewis on March 17, 1829 in Henry Co. Ky. I found Elijah in the 1830 census for Henry Co.,Ky. and there were several other McEndree men living either with him or close to him. His son, Henry Martin McEndree born Jan. 20, 1830 in Henry Co., Ky. was my husbands great grandfather. Elijah D. McEndree and Nancy Lewis McEndree had 9 children that I know of: 1. Henry Martin McEndree, born Jan. 20, 1830 in Henry Co., Ky. and married Mary Goldsberg and then Sarah H. Crowder. My husband is a descendant of Sarah H. Crowder and Henry McEndree. 2. Terressa McEndree, born 1833 in Henry Co. Ky. 3. Elizabeth McEndree born 1835 in Johnson Co, Indiana. 4. Talbert McEndree born 1837 in Johnson Co., Indiana. 5. Nancy McEndree born 1839 in Indiana in Johnson Co. 6. Elijah McEndree, born in Johnson Co. Indiana in 1840. 7. Thomas McEndree born in Johnson Co., Indiana in 1842. 8. Mary Jane McEndree born in Johnson Co., Indiana in 1844. 9. Franklin McEndree born in 1847 in Johnson Co., Indiana Any help on this McEndree family would be appreciated. 3. I am looking for information on the Crowder family. Sarah H. Crowder was born on March 26, 1846 in Allen Co., Ky. and married Henry Martin McEndree on April 23, 1871 in Schuyler Co., Missouri. She died on April 27, 1880 in Osborne Co, Kansas. I think her father may have been a G. T. Crowder but don't know for sure. I have seen things on the internet where it is said that her father was a Sterling Crowder and that her mother was a Permelia Seamster but don't know for sure. I'd like to have some information on this Crowder family. Is there anyone out there who can help me with it? Thanks, Jane Little McEndree janemc@airmail.net

    3. am new to this list and would like some help if possible. I have several ancestors from Kentucky which I need help in locating. this mailing is for Landess/Landis Jacob b. 1750-1755 either Warren Co., Or Germany. Is there a census that far back for Kentucky? Could someone see if there is any Landess's for Warren Co., or surrounding areas? Jacob married Mary REYNOLDS also born Kentucky around 1760, area unknown. Someone said her parents were Caleb Reynolds and Lydia Faunterbury, was wondering if either name has come up in census. Jacob and Mary had 14 children, some born in Kentucky, some in Ohio. Was told they left Kentucky about 1815 for Ohio. My grandmother Lydia was born 3-13-1796 KY and married in Ohio. Any help would be appreciated--I can offer descendency only through Lydia.
