The following is from my notes: Merri a John Myles b. 1789 died in Shelby Co in 1854 (race-B) (KY Death Records on Ancestry.com <http://ancestry.com/>) a John "Miles" listed on the (Kentucky, Tax Lists, 1795-1801, ancestry.com <http://ancestry.com/>) 1800 Tax List for Shelby Co KY a John "Miles", Jr. listed on the (Kentucky, Tax Lists, 1795-1801, ancestry.com <http://ancestry.com/>) 1800 Tax List for Shelby Co KY a Samuel "Miles" also listed on the (Kentucky, Tax Lists, 1795-1801, ancestry.com <http://ancestry.com/>) 1800 Tax List for Shelby Co KY a James "Mills" also listed on the (Kentucky, Tax Lists, 1795-1801, ancestry.com <http://ancestry.com/>) 1800 Tax List for Shelby Co KY ------------------------------ 1810 Federal Census Shelby Co KY list the following "MILES": David, Evan, John, Samuel, Samuel, & William 1810 Federal Census Shelby Co KY list the following "MILLS": None found on ancestry.com <http://ancestry.com/> 1810 Federal Census Shelby Co KY a John Miles ( 3 males under 10 1 male 10-15 1 male 45 and over (b. ca. 1765 or earlier) 1 female under 10 1 female 45 and over (b. ca. 1765 or earlier) The likely birth year for the head of household is consistent for this man to be the grandfather of my family.

    3. Do any of your Mills connect to Delilah Mills married to David Leamon Smith? They married in Ohio County. She is buried in Bells Run Cemetery in Taffy and he is buried in his son-in-law’s family cemetery in Warrick Co, IN. Thanks!
