Hello, I was wanting info on Washington Co. settlers? Where they came from? How did Washington Co. get it's name, beside George Washington. Could it be Washington Co. VA? My folks came to Washington Co. by way of Pulaski Co. Ky. Before that they were in Washington CO VA. They purchased land in each place. Davault and Andrew Keller were brothers. They had a sister Sarah who married Daniel Zink in Washington Co. In I guess they never moved out of Washington Co. I was wondering where they were buried. Also another set of grandparents Peter and Juliana Hubbard from VA, they too died in Washington Co. Would there be an Andrew Keller buried in Washington Co. ? Born in Germany maybe somewhere in the range of 1720. I am not sure, he had a son born in 1749 I am just guessing. I know there was an Andrew Keller who was one of the buyers of an estate of James Harbinson on Oct. 10, 1822 in Washington Co. IN Thanks for any info!!!! phyllis keller
