Looking for ancestors and siblings of Sarah Frances TAYLOR. Sarah was born on 13 June 1835 in Louisville, Kentucky. When she was young her father died as a result of an accident while cutting ice and her mother (Mary ___) remarried. They then moved to Greene County, Iowa. Sarah married John Winkleman on 19 Aug. 1858 in Jefferson City, Greene Coutny, Iowa. Sarah and John moved to California shortly after getting married. Sarah died near Cottonwood, California on 3 Nov. 1909. Family history states both her birth father and step father's last name was Taylor although I have seen the name White mentioned with a question mark but no referrence to if it was her birth or step father's name. I have a deceased aunt's notes that list her father as Joshua Taylor but no reference if that was her birth father or step father. These notes also list two brothers: Samuel and Benjamin. Sarah's mother Mary (______) Taylor passed away at the age of 87 in 1882, in Greene County, Iowa.
