For all interested I have an 1860 list of ward boundries for Louisville. Probably taken from a city directory (back in the days when I didnt document so well) I also have two maps. (sorry no scanner) Hope this helps. Pam Kirkland 1st Ward: All of the city lying East of Hancock St. to city limits and from River South to city limits. 2nd Ward: All that part of the city between Hancock and Floyd Streets from River South to city limits. 3rd Ward: All of the city between Floyd and First Streets from River South to city limits. 4th Ward: All of the city between First and Third Streets from River South to city limits. 5th Ward: All of the city between Third and Fifth Streets from River South to city limits. 6th Ward: All of the city between Fifth and Seventh Streets from River South to city limits. 7th Ward: All of the city between Seventh and Tenth Streets from River South to city limits. 8th Ward: All of the city lying West of Tenth Street from River South to city limits. The lines go straight up to the edge of the river.
