Hi, I am looking for any information on Alexander MURRAY.Do not even know if he ever lived in the KENTUCKIANA area, but many of his family did. B. 1787 possibly in Washington Co. Parents were Charles MURRAY and Jenny RODMAN, both natives of Ireland. M. (1). Fanny WATTS and (?2) Ann FISHER At least 2 brothers - John and Col. David Rodman MURRAY and 2 sisters -- Esther Rodman MURRAY (m. William ALLEN) and Elizabeth (m. Dr. SEBASTIAN) lived in Cloverport as as buried in Old Murray Graveyard in Cloverport. Children inclu. Dr. Richard Watts Murray, Felix Murray, and Russell Watts Murray. There may have been others. Richard Watts Murray m. Frances WILKERSON (1829-1853) also buried in Cloverport. He is known to have practiced medicine in Grayson Co, Breckinridge Co, and Spencer Co, IN where he died in 1891. Would like to know when and where Alexander died and any other information about the MURRAY family. Plenty of information Re: Col. David Rodman Murray, but not the rest of them. Have a quite old Murray/Wilkerson family tree with scant information othr than names and a few dates.
