Hello, Well, the lightning damage is almost all taken care of and now I am anxious to contact those kind persons who offered to look up an address that was supposed to have been changed in 1909. In the 1909 City Directory of Louisville, the address is not listed at all. It is 2641 W. Market Street with 26th and 28th as the cross streets. This is the house where the mother of an elderly friend of mine was born and my friend would like to see the old house but isn't sure what house number it is now. I would appreciate any help in finding the new address for old 2641 W. Market. Her mother was born in 1900. My friend says 28th is the other cross street because 27th "doesn't go that far".
