Looking for the parents of David E. Willoughby, b. 10/13/1856 in Wayne County Iowa. His parents were reportedly born in Kentucky. Father Hopson B. WILLOUGHBY, 1820 and mother Malinda WILLIAMS, 1828 or 1829. Hopson left KY and resided in Missouri " till the opening year of the war of the Rebellion when he went up into Iowa " and located in Wayne county. What year was the "opening year of the Rebellion"?
